Retreat Sedona has a core team of individuals who direct the day-to-day focus of the company and are on hand at each retreat (depending upon theme and location). Collectively, the wide variety of experience amongst the team members ensures your retreat, whether individual or corporate, exceeds your expectations.
Retreat Sedona is owned and operated by Lori Tierney, who has spent over twenty years in and around the Sedona area studying Native American spiritual practices, local geomancy and sacred sites.
Lori is an artist, writer, and avid student of yoga, Feng Shui practitioner, spiritual counselor, and Reiki master-healer. She conducts one-on-one sessions and workshops for clients on finding balance and uncovering their own inner creativity. It is her belief that there is a painting/story inside of everyone just waiting to be revealed. Lori's own abstract paintings are spontaneous and capture the moment and have been featured in the Sedona Journal of Emergence, on MSNBC and in Los Angeles area galleries.
Lori studied Feng Shui at the International Feng Shui Research Center, in Boulder, Colorado under Feng Shui Master, Roger Green, of Australia. Her knowledge combines such disciplines as Form and Compass Schools, Chinese Astrology/Four Pillars and Black Hat Sect Feng Shui. As a Reiki Master, Intuitive and Energy worker, Lori's metaphysical experience affords her clients tools and guidance for attaining personal growth and balance. Lori's clients include individuals and corporations in the fields of government, entertainment, high technology and business.
Lori has spent over thirty years in corporate industry leading sales, marketing, branding management, project management, sustainable building practices and interior design.
A board member of numerous public agency and private non-profit organizations, including five years as Co-Chair of the Sustainability Summit, on behalf of the Los Angeles Business Council, she was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre, in Los Angeles, a non-profit foundation for the arts and serves as an Advisor to the Board of the Joshua Tree Retreat Center. As a writer, Lori has created the story and treatment for a new television series, "Cougar Yoga," and is currently preparing to release a full-length memoir, "Cougar Yoga," in book form.
Lori's original oil paintings range from the figurative to the visionary abstract, as the artist's works defy typecasting via a categorized "signature style". Rather, each image is spontaneously created in the moment, capturing the essence of Spirit. Her images reflect her own desire to uplift the viewer with a visual vibrational frequency that encompasses the sacred geometrical building blocks of the creative source within us all. Lori's "Alien Diva of Roswell", was featured on MSNBC as the official image for the Roswell, New Mexico crash site 25th Anniversary commemorative media event. A poster of the original is available at the historical site and at this web site. Read famed trance channel medium, Robert Shapiro's, excerpt from the Sedona Journal of Emergence on the Alien Diva of Roswell.
Additional credits include Walt Disney Studios- Nawal Productions Scenic Artist, South American Tour of Disney on Parade, CNN's Millennium Moment, The Modern Art Gallery, Los Angeles, International Millennium Exhibit, US Green Building Council and Herman Miller Workplace Resource holiday greeting card. Lori consults for a number of private individuals and corporate clients by referral.

Betsy Klein's Betsy Klein started her career in corporate marketing where she worked for over fifteen years with major consumer package goods companies. In addition to her corporate work, she channeled her desire to help others into charitable organizations and has received many awards for her efforts. For three years she served as the Marketing Chair on the Board of Directors of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation-Orange County Affiliate. Other contributions include serving with Working Wardrobes and the American Cancer Society. The White House recognized all of Betsy's volunteer efforts when she was awarded the highly esteemed President's Service and Volunteer Award in 2008.
In 2007, Betsy decided she wanted to finally pursue one of her goals of being self employed and left the agency to start her own business with her partner—a commercial advertising photography studio. Additionally she began working as a marketing consultant for Retreat Sedona, which allowed her to finally nurture her spiritual side.
Since then Betsy has been helping people find their spiritual selves through retreats, workshops/events, angel card readings, and crystal healing. Her specialty is helping women with unconditional love—for themselves and others—and healing relationships (friends, lovers, family members, etc.). Her experiences have inspired a novel which she is currently writing which speaks to the importance of having unconditional love for one self first before one can love others unconditionally. Also as a follower and believer in the Law of Attraction, Betsy joined the Global Information Network and lends some credit to her involvement in GIN to helping her create the life of her dreams. Inspired she created TheSmartGal (www.thesmartgal.com and www.thesmartgal.com/blog) to share her experiences and hopes it helps other women pursue their passion as well.
